Humans without Humanity

Time passes even when it seems impossible. I know this, I have felt this. They say time heals some wounds too. But I just don’t feel that that’s quite true because some wounds are deeper than you think. They are deep-rooted in our soul that even a little bit of smell, taste, or memory can trigger a much worse wound that we were trying to heal. They might heal but they can’t be forgotten. These wounds are kind of like a stain on our soul, that’s not washable no matter how hard we try to forget it or make other people forget it too. Sooner or later someone might come up and make you remember that wound. Then nostalgia hits and anxiety rises. There’s no possible way to stop this. The problem is that humans have no humanity. Sometimes we fail to understand each other. Everyone just thinks of themselves, they don’t bother to think what others could be facing or feeling and they just drop some words that are normal to them but bomb to the other person. And the fact is we can’t change this phenomenon. Because sometimes people do what they want to do. It’s just the way it is. I don’t believe there’s a way to ever stop this. This is human nature and humans are stubborn, they won’t correct their mistake for even 100 million bucks. You might call it their ego, but I consider it stubbornness. There’s no possible way to easily change the wiring of the human mind. It might become less hostile, less stubborn, or less aggressive, but it can’t stay much longer without feeling negative. You see, negativity is in all of us. Even the people who smile all the time. Yes, they are negative too. They have just mastered the art of hiding their emotions and expressions. I don’t blame them, it’s a good coping mechanism and other people should follow it too. Although we must remember to give our emotions time to release too. Or else our emotions will explode one after another and the medicine won’t do any good in that time.
