Previous Generation v/s Today's Generation
In the previous Generations parents taught their kids how to be tough, how to be independent, how to survive in every condition possible. But today, parents' viewpoint is different. They want to raise their kid differently from how they were raised in their time. New Generation parents provide all kind of facilities to their kids and often forget to teach them how to live without all the facilities. This makes the kid indifferent towards other people in the society who are so called 'not of their level' .
Parents didn't just force their children to study but also took care they learn on their own. That's why very few of them went to take tuitions. In that time going to a tution was a shameful things now it has become a trend. Previously Tuition was only meant for weak students. With the fear of being called weak, children themselves avoided going to Tuition.
Parents used to give less pocket money to their kid so that they learn the value of money. So they could learn how to save money. They saved pocket money to buy some little pieces of happiness.
Children always throw tantrums. But at that time parents didn't listen to them for their own good. For eg. When The child didn't wanna eat some specific food which is healthy, parents made them eat it & make them realise that everything has importance.
Nowadays parents don't just raise kids , they pamper them. They don't make them bold and tough rather they try to make things easier for them. Providing facilities to your kids is good but making them dependent on those facilities isn't a good option.
New generation kids don't know how to have fun without mobile phones in their hands. They can't survive without AC for even an hour. They refuse to go out and play. They find it difficult to socialise even with the kids of their age. Children lack discipline now. They have adopted all sorts of bad habits like lying, bad mouthing, anger towards parents, etc.
There's a huge difference between today's kid and previous generations' kid. It's not like all the previous generation kids were highly disciplined but they were much better off than today's kids.
